French stock market index down 2.76 pct on Monday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 sank by 2.76 percent close at 4,357.05 points on Monday, down 123.61 points.

With the IMF's possible decision to lower world economic growth previsions for 2015 and 2016 due to bad economic situation, the CAC 40 of Paris closed lower on Monday with all of the 40 selected companies experiencing decrease.

The three companies whose stocks dropped most on Monday were ArcelorMittal, down 8.26 percent, Kering, down 5.38 percent, and Peugeot, down 5.23 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 strongly rebounded by 3.07 percent close at 4,480.66 points, up 133.42 points. Endit
