LME base metals close mixed on Monday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed mixed on Monday, as investors tried to get a grip on the state of the global economy.

The three-month unofficial copper price increased 7.5 U.S. dollars, or 0.14 percent, to 5,270 dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price lost 6.5 dollars, or 0.40 percent, to 1,619.5 dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price lost 5 dollars, or 0.30 percent, to 1,686 dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price lost 30 dollars, or 1.77 percent, to 1,665 dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price increased 75 dollars, or 0.77 percent, to 9,862.5 dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price increased 150 dollars, or 1.00 percent, to 15,225 dollars a tonne. Endit
