Hungary's government has decided to begin preparations for another border fence, this one on the Romanian border, Hungarian foreign minister Peter Szijjarto told a news conference here on Tuesday.

The fence, he said, would start at the point where Hungary's borders with Serbia and Romania intersect, and would be extended over "a reasonable distance." (Hungary-Refugee)

SAMALOUT, Egypt -- An Egyptian court ratified on Tuesday the death sentences on eight supporters of ousted Islamist President Mohamed Morsi over violence and murder charges following security dispersals of pro-Morsi sit-ins in mid-August 2013.

Among the 119 defendants in the case, Menia Criminal Court also sentenced 83 defendants to 25 years in prison and 14 defendants to 15 years, among others who were hammered to five to 10 years in jail. (Egypt-Mohamed Morsi)

BAGHDAD -- A total of 16 people were killed and 28 others wounded on Tuesday in an airstrike and separate clashes with Islamic State (IS) militants in Iraq's western province of Anbar, provincial security sources said.

An Iraqi aircraft bombarded IS positions in the IS-held city of Rutba, some 370 km west of the Iraqi capital of Baghdad, leaving 10 people killed and 16 others wounded, a provincial security source told Xinhua on condition of anonymity. (Iraq-IS-Attack)

MOGADISHU -- The United Nations envoy to Somalia on Tuesday called on warring parties to resolve the impeachment motion issues through dialogue.
