Vietnam starts collecting feedback on draft report for upcoming party congress

Vietnam has started collecting citizens' feedback on a draft political report by the 11th tenure of the Party Central Committee (PCC) which is being submitted to the 12th National Party Congress on Tuesday.

A full draft report was publicized on media from Tuesday for comments and ideas.

The report offers a general assessment on the implementation of the 11th National Party Congress resolution (2011-2015), a review of 30 years of the renewal process (1986-2016) and works out the general targets and missions for national development in the next five years during 2016-2020.

The report also talks about the issue of renewing the model of growth, restructuring the economy, increasing national industrialization, stepping up the process of modernization, building a pure and strong party, and increasing the party leadership and combativeness.

Feedback to the draft political report will be collected until Oct. 31. The 12th National Party Congress to form the new PCC scheduled to be held in 2016. Endi
