China's Zhejiang beats DPR Korea club at Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship

China's Zhejiang club defeated 4.25 Sports club of DPR Korea 3-0 at the 2015 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship in northern Vietnam's Ha Nam province on Tuesday.

Zhejiang ranked first in Pool B, which also groups clubs from Japan, DPR Korea, the Philippines and Iran.

Also on Tuesday, Vietnam's Thong Tin Lien Viet Post Bank lost 1-3 to Kazakhstan's Zhetyssu, who stayed first in Pool A, which comprises clubs from Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Thailand and Chinese Taipei.

The annual continental competition attracted nine teams. The event is scheduled to last till Sept. 20.

The winner of the tournament will earn the only ticket to compete in the 2016 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship, which is slated for October 2016. Endi
