China stocks close lower on Thursday

Chinese shares closed lower on Thursday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index down 1.39 percent to end at 3,197.89 points.

The Shenzhen Component Index dropped 1.84 percent to close at 10,424.65 points. The ChiNext Index, which tracks China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, lost 1.57 percent to close at 2,039.12 points. Endi
