Czech Foreign Ministry said in a press release on Wednesday that the Czech Republic will host a foreign ministers' meeting of the Visegrad Group (V4) countries, Germany and Luxembourg on the migrant crisis on Friday.
According to the press release, the meeting is to be a follow-up to the talks of the V4 prime ministers in Prague on September 4, 2015, it is to further elaborate the foreign political conclusions put down in a joint declaration and acquaint the partners from Luxembourg and Germany with them.
The meeting is to promote understanding between the EU member countries whose opinions are different on dealing with the current refugees crisis. It probably hinted at the different stances on refugee-sharing quotas and focus on a better protection of the Schengen area, the creation of "hotspots" on its border and possible solutions to the conflicts in Syria and Libya.
