83rd European Fair opens in Strasbourg

Xinhua, September 5, 2015 Adjust font size:

French Minister of the Economy Emmanuel Macron opened the 83rd edition of the European Fair by repeating his call for a parliament of the Euro Zone to be formed and proposing Strasbourg as its seat.

The Socialist minister urged the creation of "a stronger, more efficient Euro Zone, with a real budget, a real economic governance and a real Euro zone parliament."

"And on this point, I am convinced that Strasbourg has a useful card to play," he continued.

The European Fair is to run until Sept. 14, which hosts over 1,000 exhibitors and expects nearly 200,000 visitors. Endit
