French stock market drops 2.81 pct on Friday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 dropped by 2.81 percent to close at 4,523.08 points on Friday, down 130.71 points.

The CAC 40 of Paris closed lower on Friday with all of the 40 selected companies experiencing decrease.

The three companies whose stocks dropped most on Friday were Kering, plummeting 6.16 percent, ArcelorMittal, plunging 5.84 percent, and Lafargeholcim Ltd, dropping 5.37 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 rebounded by 2.17 percent to close at 4,653.79 points, up 98.87 points. Endit
