Myanmar names 23-member squad for Olympic women's football qualifiers

Myanmar Football Federation has selected a 23-member squad for the second round of the Asian zone qualifiers for the 2016 Olympic women's football tournament, the federation said Wednesday.

The Myanmar women's team will undertake a rigorous training program in Nanjing of China until Sept.8.

Myanmar face Thailand, Vietnam, Chinese Taipei and Jordan in the second-round qualifiers to be held in Mandalay from Sept.14 to 22.

The top team of the round robin matches will advance to the third round qualifiers against Japan, South Korea, DPR Korea, China and Australia. Endi
