(Sports) Myanmar forms 23-member squad for women's Olympic football qualifiers

The Myanmar Football Federation said Wednesday a 23-member squad had been formed for the second round of the women's Asian zone qualifiers for the 2016 Olympic Games.

As part of the preparations, the team will undertake a rigorous training program in Nanjing, China, until Sept. 8.

The qualifiers will be held in Mandalay, the second largest city of Myanmar, from Sept. 14 to 22.

Myanmar will compete with Thailand, Vietnam, Chinese Taipei and Jordan. The top team of the round robin matches will go on to play the third round qualifiers against Japan, South Korea, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, China and Australia. Endi
