Xinhua News Agency will offer a live broadcast of China's military parade in Beijing on its social media accounts from 10 a.m. (2 a.m. GMT) on Thursday.

Eleven foot formations, 27 armament formations, 10 aircraft formations, and two veteran teams, along with nearly 1,000 foreign troops from 17 countries, will participate in the parade commemorating the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.

The parade will feature some advanced Chinese weaponry to show the country's military progress.

Some 30 foreign leaders will join Chinese President Xi Jinping on the bleachers overlooking Tiananmen Square, where the parade takes place.
