During the meeting, President Jokowi, popular name of the president, offered Timor Leste to purchase weaponry manufactured by Indonesian factories, such as such as CN-235 and CN-295 aircraft, armored vehicles ANOA, Pindad SS-2 assault rifles, ammunition, and military uniform.

For his part, Araujo hailed security and economic cooperation between the nations, saying that Timor Leste is ready to discuss sea border issues with Indonesia. "At bilateral level, I welcome solid development of cooperation on security and economy. My government is ready to have discussions on the marine border with Indonesia,"said Araujo.
