Dollar trades in upper 118 yen range in early Tokyo trading

The U.S. dollar traded in the upper 118 yen range early Wednesday morning in Tokyo after another drop on Wall Street overnight.

At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 118.67-69 yen compared with 118.81-91 yen in New York and 119.72-75 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The euro fetched 1.1550-1552 dollars and 137.10-13 yen against 1.1512-1522 dollars and 136.84-94 yen in New York and 1.1528-1531 dollar and 138.04-08 yen in Tokyo late Tuesday afternoon. Endi
