NHL Kings sign German veteran defenseman Ehrhoff

Xinhua, August 24, 2015 Adjust font size:

German veteran defenseman Christian Ehrhoff has signed a one-year, 1.5-million-dollar deal with the NHL Los Angeles Kings.

The 33-year-old unrestricted free agent played last season only 49 games for the Pittsburgh Penguins due to injury and he missed the Penguins' first-round playoff series against the New York Rangers.

Ehrhoff is believed by the Kings to be a good fit for the team that won Stanley Cups in 2012 and 2014 but missed the 2015 playoffs. Endi
