Honda Vietnam recalls over 21,000 cars with faulty airbags

Honda Vietnam has announced a recall of 21,181 Civic and CR-V cars which have faulty airbags, a majority of which were manufactured in Vietnam, local online newspaper Thanh Nien (Young People) News reported Monday.

These vehicles include 21,171 Civic manufactured from 2006 to 2011 and CR-V from 2008 to 2011, and 10 imported Civic and CR-V vehicles manufactured from 2005 to 2008.

Honda Vietnam said, some identified problems with inflators of the front seats airbags may affect drivers' safety. However, there have been no recorded accidents related to the error, the company said. Endi
