Media center for China's V-Day parade to open on Aug. 27

The media center for the Sept. 3 military parade will open on Aug. 27 at the Media Center Hotel of Beijing.

The center will accept applications from reporters from abroad as well as those from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, according to a press release from the center on Monday.

Its website, kzjn70.cn, and official WeChat account, kzjn7O, will be launched on Tuesday, to share information about interviews, press conferences and other events.

The press release also published contact numbers for foreign reporters, which are +86 10 6852 1200, and +86 10 6852 1300.

The numbers for reporters from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan are +86 10 6852 1600 and +86 10 6852 1700.

It will be the first time for China to hold a military parade to commemorate the end of World War II and the victory of the war of its resistance against the Japanese invasion.
