Dollar trades at lower 124 yen level in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the lower 124 yen level Friday in Tokyo deals.

At 9 a.m., the dollar traded at 124.39-40 yen compared with 124. 37-47 yen in New York and 124.58-60 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Thursday.

The euro fetched 1.1156-1157 dollars and 138.77-80 yen against 1.1145-1155 dollars and 138.72-82 yen in New York and 1.1112-1114 dollars and 138.44-48 yen in Tokyo late Thursday afternoon. Endi
