1st LD: 4 policemen gunned down in Pakistan's Karachi

At least four policemen were killed in firing by unknown gunmen in Pakistan's southern port city of Karachi on Wednesday afternoon, local media reported.

Samaa TV said the policemen were dining at a restaurant when the militants opened fire at them and fled the scene in Korangi area of Karachi, the capital city of the country's south Sindh province.

Police said four gunmen coming on two motorbikes attacked the policemen with sophisticated weapons.

The attacked policemen were rushed to hospital by local people where all of them were pronounced dead.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
