China saw their debut after the Women's World Cup sabotaged as Jung Seolbin's sole goal helped South Korea beat China in the EAFF Women's East Asian Cup here on Saturday. ' South Korea took control of the first-half from the beginning and missed the gold opportunity as Jung Seolbin's single-pool ball was blocked by Zhao Rong who filled gap in the 14th minute.

Jung Seolbin put the game beyond China with a 27th minute long-shot from the edge of the box.

China's coach Hao Wei made the first change as Pang Fengyue was replaced by Wang Shuang.

China starated to strengthen attack in the last 20 minutes of the second-half as the substitute Lou Jiahui saw her back-heel shot wide off the right post in the 69th minute before Wang Shuang's attempt in the goal area was parried by South Korea's goalkeeper Kim Jung Mi.

Wang Shanshan's lob from a perfect pass of Wang Shuang was denied by Kim Jung Mi again in the 77th minute.

"It's my responsibility of the loss, soccer is a team work, maybe one player's error will lead to the defeat. We played what we wanted in the second-half, and I believe we will have a better performance in the next match," said Hao Wei. Endi
