Thailand downs China' s Liaoning to top int' l women's volleyball tournament

The Chinese club of Liaoning on Saturday evening lost 1-3 to Under-23 Thailand in the final match at the 2015 International Women's Volleyball Tournament - VTV Cup in Vietnam' s southern Bac Lieu province.

Thai young players beat their Chinese rivals 3-1 with the scores of 25-22, 24-26, 27-25 and 25-20, to be crowned at the tournament.

Also on Saturday, the Democratic People' s Republic of Korea (DPRK) defeated Vietnam to finish third at the eight-day tournament which includes Liaoning, China' s Nanjing, the DPRK, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. Endi
