Dollar changes hands in upper 123 yen zone in early Tokyo deals

The U.S. dollar changed hands at the upper 123 yen level in Tokyo early Monday.

At 9 a.m., the dollar traded at 123.76-77 yen compared with 123. 74-84 yen in New York and 123.91-93 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Friday.

The euro fetched 1.0974-0974 dollars and 135.79-86 yen against 1.0977-0987 dollars and 135.86-96 yen in New York and 1.0941-0943 dollars and 135.57-61 yen in Tokyo late Friday afternoon. Endi
