New Orleans Pelicans to sign Kendrick Perkins

According to league sources, veteran center Kendrick Perkins has reached an agreement with the New Orleans Pelicans on a one-year deal worth the veterans minimum.

Perkins, 30, has spent 12 seasons in NBA, the first seven in Boston. He will play for his fourth team after being a member of the Boston Celtics, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Cleveland Cavaliers.

He joined the Cavaliers last February, averaging 2.6 points and 2.4 rebounds during his short stint in Cleveland. Endi
