Nguyen Tien Minh and Vu Thi Trang have been named in the Badminton World Federation's list of competitors for the 2015 World Badminton Championships to be held in Indonesia from August 10-16, Vietnam News Agency reported Wednesday.

World number 35 and Olympian Minh will compete with other 63 players in the men's singles event. World number 49 Trang will play alongside 47 players in the women's singles event.

At the same championships held last year, both Minh and Trang had reached the third round.

This year's championships will give players a chance to earn points to qualify for the 2016 Summer Olympics, which is scheduled to be held in Brazil, from August 5-21. Endit
