Shooter Boza wins first gold medal for Peru

Peruvian shooter Francisco Boza on Tuesday won gold medal in trap shooting in Toronto 2015 Pan American Games and qualified for Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games, local media reported.

According to local daily El Comercio, Boza won Peru's second gold medal since the 2003 Games

In the 2003 edition of the regional games, held in Rio de Janeiro, Alexis Carbajal won a gold medal in karate.

With this result, Boza also got a ticket for Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games. Earlier, Mauricio Fiol also got a ticket for this competition.
