Olivia Jordan of Oklahoma crowned Miss U.S.A.

Olivia Jordan, 26, on Sunday won the 64th annual Miss U.S.A pageant which was held in the Louisiana state capital of Baton Rouge and attended by 51 beauties representing all the states and the District of Columbia.

Jordan, who is from the U.S. state of Oklahoma and graduated from Boston University with a bachelor's degree in science, is now a group fitness instructor and personal trainer, according to The Times-Picayune, a newspaper published in the Louisiana city of New Orleans.

Speaking at a press conference following the beauty contest on Sunday, Jordan said she is looking forward to spreading a message of love diversity and acceptance.

It is the first time a contestant from Oklahoma has won the Miss U.S.A national pageant. Jordan was followed by first runner-up Yliana Guerra, 22, of Texas, and second runner-up Anea Garcia, 20, of Rhode Island. Endi
