Xinhua, June 26, 2015 Adjust font size:

Over 100 Chinese travel agencies will visit Tonga in the coming month as the two countries are signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on tourism in July, according to the Chinese travel administration on Friday.

The first group from Shanghai will leave China for Tonga at the end of the month. They will visit local attractions and attend tourism seminars with local experts, according to the National Tourism Administration.

Travel agencies from Beijing, Tianjin, Shanghai and Guangdong will follow suit.

Since the establishment of the bilateral relationship, China and Tonga have achieved successful cooperation in trade, tourism, culture and education. Consisting of 173 islands, Tonga is situated close to New Zealand in the Pacific Ocean. Endi
