Fenerbahce sign Brazilian striker Fernandao

Turkish super league club Fenerbahce have signed 28-year-old Brazilian striker Fernandao, who has played for Turkish Bursaspor club for year-and-a-half, scoring 32 goals out of 46 games, local BGN News reported Thursday.

Joss Fernando Viana de Santana, known as Fernandao, arrived in Istanbul Thursday morning and has agreed a four-year deal with the Fenerbahce. The striker was the league's top scorer last season by netting 22 and will be chasing Champions League glory with Fenerbahce.

Fernandao is the latest piece of the puzzle as Fenerbahce have sought to completely renew their squad for the coming new season, starting with the appointment of former FC Porto coach Vitor Pereira.

The Brazilian striker on the other hand, will join recent signings which include former Bursaspor teammate, right back sener Ozbayrakli, in addition to Danish skipper Simon Kjaer. The Istanbul side is also chasing Manchester United's Portuguese winger Nani.

The Brazilian scorer will attend a ceremony on Friday. Endi
