Chinese vice president meets Georgian deputy PM

Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao met Georgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Energy Kakha Kaladze, in Beijing on Thursday.

Li said China attached great importance to ties with Georgia and welcomed the country to be a founding member of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).

He believed both sides will take the Silk Road Economic Belt as an opportunity to enhance cooperation in various fields.

Kaladze spoke highly of the Belt and Road initiative, and hoped Georgia and China would continue to develop bilateral ties and maintain momentum to promote cooperation projects. Endi
