1st LD: Jordanian killed, 4 injured in mortar attack from Syria

One Jordanian was killed and four others were injured when mortar shells from Syria fell into the town of Ramtha, a security official said Thursday.

The mortar shells from Syria hit houses, a school and a commercial area in Ramtha, a Jordanian town bordering Syria, the security source told Xinhua, adding that a 23-year old man was killed in the shelling.

The four injured, listed in fair condition, are being treated. Endit
