Northeast China police crack huge drug ring

Xinhua, June 23, 2015 Adjust font size:

Police in northeast China's Liaoning Province have dismantled a multi-province drug ring, detaining over 90 suspects and confiscating 17 kilograms of crystal methylamphetamine and 3,500 meth tablets, local authorities said Tuesday.

The traffickers purchased drugs in the southern Guangdong Province and sold them in Liaoning. From April 2014 to March 2015, a local police task force seized drugs and arrested suspects in four separate actions in the two provinces.

According to the police, a drug lab has been destroyed and all suspects related to the drug ring have been captured.

Investigations continue. Endi
