Indian PM condemns Taliban attack upon Afghan parliament

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi Monday condemned the attack on Afghan Parliament and said India stood shoulder to shoulder with Afghan people at this hour.

Calling it a "despicable and cowardly act", Modi said in his twitter that "there is no place for such attacks in a democracy".

"My prayers are with those injured. We stand shoulder to shoulder with the people of Afghanistan in this hour," he said.

Taliban militants attacked the Afghan Parliament Monday morning with gunfire and explosions from suicide car bombers. Endi
