-- A German has died in northern Germany of complications from MERS infection. The 65 year old man was infected with the virus on vacation in the Middle East in February.

Sueddeutsche Zeitung:

-- A meeting of EU interior ministers in Luxembourg on Tuesday has not produced concrete results about how to distribute refugees more fairly in Europe. EU member states, however, agreed that a common solution was necessary in this issue, according to meeting participants.

Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung:
