Legendary Brazilian footballer Zito dies at 82

Legendary Brazilian footballer Zito died at the age of 82, announced his former club Santos on Monday.

The announcement said that the two-time World Cup winner died at his home in Sao Paulo but did not gave the cause of death. [ Zito used to be the midfielder of Brazil's World Cup-winning squads in Sweden in 1958 and Chile in 1962. He was a teammate of great Pele and scored many significant goals for his team including one in the final of 1962 World Cup against former Czechoslovakia.

Zito played for Santos 15 years and helped the club winning the Copa Libertadores in 1962 and 1963.

Neymar, the current world football star who was recruited to Santos by Zito when he was 11, expressed his condolence at Twitter on Monday. "I just appreciate everything you did for me. Thank you Zito," he said. Endi
