French stock market down 1.41 pct on Friday

The French stock market benchmark index CAC 40 closed with a decrease of 1.41 percent at 4,901.19 points on Friday, down 70.18 points.

The CAC 40 closed lower on Friday with 38 of the 40 selected companies experiencing decrease.

The three companies whose stocks dropped most were Unibail-Rodamco, down 2.39 percent, Engie, down 2.05 percent, and Air Liquide, down 1.96 percent.

Only Kering and Alstom gained advance on Friday, respectively by 0.53 percent and 0.02 percent.

In the previous trading day, the CAC 40 closed with an advance of 0.74 percent at 4,971.37 points on Thursday, up 36.46 points. Endit
