LME base metals close lower on Thursday

The base metals prices on the London Metal Exchange (LME) closed lower on Thursday.

The three-month unofficial copper price dropped 165 U.S. dollars, or 2.73 percent, to 5,872.5 dollars per tonne.

The three-month unofficial aluminium price lost 31.5 dollars, or 1.78 percent, to 1,734.5 dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial lead price lost 55 dollars, or 2.83 percent, to 1,886 dollars a tonne.

Besides, the three-month unofficial zinc price lost 38.5 dollars, or 1.78 percent, to 2,122.5 dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial nickel price lost 255 dollars, or 1.89 percent, to 13,270 dollars a tonne.

The three-month unofficial tin price lost 225 dollars, or 1.47 percent, to 15,125 dollars a tonne. Endit
