Indian stocks end at eight-month low

Xinhua, June 11, 2015 Adjust font size:

Indian stocks ended at the lowest closing level in about eight months on Thursday.

The main reasons behind the sluggish performance of the market include rises in crude oil prices, weak corporate earnings and foreign portfolio investment shifting out of the country.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex closed at 26,370.98, 469.52 points or 1.75 percent down from the previous close of 26,840.50. Endi
