Tokyo stocks open lower following Europe, Wall St. losses

Tokyo stocks fell in early trading on Tuesday, tracking losses in European and U.S. stocks overnight.

At 9:15 a.m., the 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average was down 151. 29 points, or 0.74 percent, from Monday to 20,305.90. The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange lost 11.18 points, or 0.67 percent, to 1,650.81.

Decliners were led by rubber products, insurance and precision instruments. Endi
