Nigeria forces Sweden to 3-3 draw at Women's World Cup

Nigeria twice came from behind to force favored Sweden to a 3-3 draw in a Group D match at the women's World Cup on Monday.

The 33rd ranked Nigeria suffered an early blow as an own goal and a goal from Nilla Fischer at the 31st minute left them 2-0 behind.

But the African team never gave up and with quicker pace and fiercer attacking they scored twice early in the second half through Ngozi Okobi and Asisat Oshoala.

Sweden's substitute Linda Sembrant again put Sweden 3-2 ahead only to see the Nigerians level the scoring at 3-3 through Francisca Ordega at the 87th minute.

The match was the opener of Group D which also includes the United States and Australia. Endi
