Cuba rank bottom in FIVB World League Pool C

Xinhua, June 8, 2015 Adjust font size:

Cuba's men's national volleyball team dropped to the last place of International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) World League Pool C after being defeated twice by Bulgaria in Havana.

Cuba has lost five and only won once in the first six matches in the group stage.

The inexperienced Cubans had a better performance on Friday, but still lost 3-1 to the visiting Bulgarian team. Bulgaria came back from 1-0 behind to beat the hosts in four sets on Saturday.

With three wins and one defeat, Bulgaria has already booked a ticket for the finals.

Next week, Cuba will face Argentina and later Canada. Endi
