Four people were killed and three others were injured on Sunday in Libya's western city of Misrata in an armed attack on the city's eastern entrance, according to a local source.

"Four security personnel were killed and three others were wounded in an armed attack on Sunday by the Islamic State (IS) affiliated militants on Abu-Grin gate," a source from Misrata's local council told Xinhua. (Libya-IS)

ANKARA -- In the national elections on Sunday, Turkish voters elected to punish the ruling party, depriving it the required seats in the parliament to form a single party government, according to the early results.

BUDAPEST -- Two gliders, both coming in for a landing in Esztergom, northern Hungary, collided in the air about 100-150 meters from the airport on Sunday, at an altitude of 50-100 meters, and one of them crashed, killing both passengers, local wire service MTI reported.

LAGOS -- Suspected Boko Haram militants killed a security operative at Ungwan Keke area of central north Nigeria's Kaduna State on Sunday after a gun battle with the Joint Security Operatives.

GUAYAQUIL, Ecuador -- The oceanographic research ship Zhu Kezhen of the Navy of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) on a mission of global voyage made a call at Guayaquil Port on Sunday for a five-day goodwill visit to Ecuador.
