Germany shows no mercy again in Women' s World Cup

Xinhua, June 8, 2015 Adjust font size:

Germany beat Cote d'Ivoire with a 10-0 in the Women' s World Cup in Canada on Sunday.

The twice winner of World Women' s Cup did not show any mercy to the African team which participated in this game for the first time.

The score of 10-0 is the second-most lopsided win in event history, which almost reached the record made by themselves of 11-0 in 2007 with Argentina.

At second half, Ange Nguessan' s header sailed over the crossbar, thereby missing the opportunity to hit the first goal in this event for Cote d'Ivoire. Endi
