China stocks open higher Thursday

Chinese stocks opened higher on Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.06 percent, to open at 4,912.94.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 17,579.36, up 0.23 percent.

The ChiNext Index, tracking China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, opened 0.24 percent higher at 3,991.8 points. Endi
