The Burundi Red Cross counted at least 21 persons killed during demonstrations that started in the Burundian capital Bujumbura since April 26, a Red Cross spokesman said Wednesday.

"From April 26 to June 2, agents of the Burundi Red Cross counted and deplored the killing of 21 persons killed during demonstrations in some neighborhoods of the capital Bujumbura," said Alexis Manirakiza. (Burundi-Protests)

BUDAPEST -- The Capable Logistician 2015 (CL15) military exercise has got underway and will be running from June 1 to 26 at the Bakony Training Center in the hills of Western Hungary, the Ministry of Defense announced on Wednesday.

ABUJA -- Casualties were feared Wednesday after a huge explosion rocked a commercial area in Maiduguri, capital of Nigeria's northeastern state of Borno, witnesses said.

GAZA -- Israeli war jets struck militants' targets with air-to-ground missiles early on Thursday in the Gaza Strip, where huge explosions heard in the western part of the coastal enclave, according to eyewitnesses and security officials.
