Spanish stock market rises 0.3 pct, closes at 11,271 points

Spain's benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 rose 0.3 percent on Tuesday to close at 11,271.40 points, up from the 11,238.10 points of Monday.

ArcelorMittal shares led rises climbing 3.93 percent, followed by Tecnicas Reunidas, Banco Popular, Banco Santander and Banco Sabadell that rose 3.93 percent, 1.82 percent, 1.41 percent and 1.27 percent respectively.

On the other hand, IAG shares led falls losing 2.05 percent, followed by FCC, BME, Sacyr and Abertis that lost 1.44 percent, 0.80 percent, 0.73 percent and 0.72 percent respectively.

Spain's risk premium stood at 137.2 by the end of the session showing no major variations with Monday closing time, while Spain's 10-year bond interest rate stood at 2.08 percent, slightly above the 1.95 percent of Monday and surpassing 2 percent for the first since the beginning of May. Enditem
