Chinese junior Wang wins tennis trophy amid French Open

Chinese teenager Wang Xiaofei came out the winner of this year's Future Tennis Aces tournament here on Saturday after beating Briton Jack Pinnington-Jones in straight sets.

The final between the two under-13 boys, taking place on the clay court set up on the Champ-de-Mars, ended in favor of the Chinese, 4-0, 4-0.

Since Thursday, 16 boys from 16 different countries, were playing for the trophy of the tournament, now in its 6th year as part of the "Roland-Garros in the City" event.

The two young finalists had the chance to play an exhibition match with France's Davis Cup captain Arnaud Clement and Michael Llodra before the French tennis federation (FFT) president Jean Gachassin awarded them the prizes. Endi
