"Women's Fair" held in Sarajevo

Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), on Saturday opened "Women's Fair", the first of its kind, together with fashion shows.

The fair was opened by a local singer in a stadium in central Sarajevo, participated by over 40 exhibitors, both local and overseas, for cosmetics, underwear and swim wear.

It will be followed by fashion shows, talk shows over woman's issues. There would also be lectures and discussions about health and education of women.

The fair will last through the weekend, and the locals have the opportunities to enjoy a series of cultural events together with fashion shows. Organizers hoped the event will also help to highlight the social issues of women in the Balkan state. Endit
