Xi appoints new ambassadors

Chinese President Xi Jinping has appointed two new ambassadors, according to a statement from the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on Wednesday.

Wang Di was appointed ambassador to Kuwait, replacing Cui Jianchun.

Li Chen was appointed ambassador to Qatar, replacing Gao Youzhen. Endi
