Some 139 grave sites and 28 suspected human trafficking camps have been discovered near Malaysia's northern border with Thailand, the country's police chief said on Monday.
However, the authorities are yet unable to tell how many bodies are inside each grave, national police chief Khalid Abu Bakar was quoted by local media as saying. (Malaysia-Human Trafficking)

SYDNEY -- Man Horan Monis boasted he was well connected in Iran, but was "prone to grandiose claims," the inquest into last year's Sydney siege incident heard on Monday.

QALAT, Afghanistan -- More than 40 people were wounded after a suicide car bomb ripped through Qalat city, capital of southern Afghanistan's Zabul province on Monday, police said.
The attack occurred at around 11:00 a.m. local time Monday when a militant detonated an explosive-laden vehicle near the provincial council office, Mirwas Noorzai, provincial police chief, told Xinhua. (Afghanistan-Bombing)

NEW DELHI -- At least one person was killed and several others injured in a railway mishap in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, a senior police official said on Monday.
"The mishap happened when eight coaches of an express train derailed in the state's Kaushambi district. While one person died on the spot, those injured have been admitted to a local hospital where the condition of some are said to be serious," he said on condition of anonymity.
