2015 China-Jiangsu Commodities Fair opens in Japan's Osaka

The 2015 China-Jiangsu Commodities Fair kicked off on Tuesday in the western Japanese commercial city of Osaka, with about 170 firms and manufacturers from the Chinese province.

The three-day event, held in "MyDome Osaka", a major exhibition hall in Osaka, covers an area of about 4,000 square meters, with over 230 booths on two floors, to display a wide range of goods such as apparel items, daily necessities, home fabrics and shoes, as well as gifts.

Da Jiaxiang, an official from Jiangsu province, told Xinhua that the fair has become an important platform for enterprises from Jiangsu to increase business links with Japanese firms. Around 70 percent of the 170 firms has taken part in the fair before.

As 19th edition of the event, the fair will run through Thursday, and the organizers expect more than 3,000 buyers to come. Endi
